I think being in love with life is a key to eternal youth
— Doug Hutchison

I often find myself either looking too far ahead, or way in the past. I forget to enjoy and live in the present moment. This quote is what helps me focus on enjoying the time i’m in because nothing last forever.

If you want to make an easy job seem mighty hard, just keep putting off doing it
— Olin Miller

Usually i’ll have a lot of task and projects I have to complete and deadlines to meet, and from experience, usually waiting last moment to complete a simple task never ends well. What happens is you’ll put aside all the simple task and eventually it will all add up and you’ll end up turning a one or two day project into weeks, because you either did not have the time or motivation to do so. No perfect time than now.

— David M. Burns

Sometimes I forget it’s okay to make mistakes. I find myself very critical of my action and others. So reading this humbles me and helps me see things in a different perspective.

A real friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out.
— Walter Winchell

It’s crazy how many people come and go in your life. What’s remarkable is, the ones who stay are always the ones who have supported you throughout your journey in life. Friends who support you even when you’re going against what society wants you to be are the ones who matter. That’s rare.

We read that we ought to forgive our enemies, but we do not read that we ought to forgive our friends.
— Sir. Francis Bacon

I question, instead of forgiving our friends why do we turn them into enemies? Life is too short to hold grudges, and holding on to hate is just a waste of time.

I hope you enjoyed these, and find yourself coming back to read these when you’re in need of some clarity.
